This is tough to answer because we don’t know the specs of the diamond except for its size. Could you add some more info? Color, clarity, cut…etc.??

EDIT: The estimates you got were really close to what I was going to estimate them to be worth. I was going to say for the first one between 13-15k and for the wedding band 5-7k. Could you take it to a Tacori dealer to have it estimated one last time before you sell it?

Pic #1 is my favorite. I’m always partial to the classic look of one band.

Pic #2 is nice, but it’s too much for me.

Pic #3 just looks strange. I don’t like it at all.

BUT, it’s not about what I like, it’s about what you like and what feels comfortable.

I think that all the rings go on the same finger. Left hand, finger next to you pinky.

Promise ring means that he promises to marry you one day.
Purity ring means that you are going to stay pure until your wedding day.
Engagement means you are engaged to be married.
Wedding band means you are married.
Eternity ring is a ring that you are given on a big wedding anniversary, it has diamond all the way around.

Blue Nile’s database is good, but they don’t provide you with photos or analysis reports (ASET, Isee2, B-scope, etc) of the diamond. I wouldn’t go with them for that reason.

I think it is beautiful. I don’t have a diamond for my engagement ring either. I love green so i have an emerald and i LOVE IT!!
So just remember when you look at it what it means and why you are wearing it. It will put a smile on your face.

I think what you should do is take pictures of the rings (all of them) that you like to a custom jeweler and work out what your rings will look like. Listen to what the jeweler has to propose, because he/she will be knowledgeable and can offer you very good advice as to the design. Then have your rings custom made if you need to. But don’t buy something on the internet, because it will be very difficult, if not impossible to exchange and possibly will end up costing you a lot more than you anticipate if it needs to be altered.

What you will want is either white gold or platinum, sterling silver is VERY soft, does not wear well (will get thin or break) and tarnishes quickly.
