Matching wedding band?

My engagement ring is a classic 6 prong platinum setting, 1.25 carat diamond…Well I wanted my wedding band to have some diamonds on it (like an eternity band, but I dont want the diamonds all the way around). The problem is nothing sits flush against the ring because of the prong setting, and if I get one customized (a curve in the middle) it will look strange if I decide to wear it alone. One jeweler I went to told me I could always wear the ring backwards in that case, but then I also would HAVE to get diamonds all the way around…HELP please???? Anyone else who went through this or knows anything?

  1. fizzy stuff says:

My engagement ring does not sit flush against the band, as it is bezel set. It doesnt matter. Unless your rings are really tight on your fingers (which you dont want anyway), the rings are going to move around a bit. They dont need to be interlocking pieces, unless you really want them that way.
*I have a full circle diamond band, and I am really glad it is full circle because it is always spinning around. Consider it.
